Thoth of Death
From death I come
This lie is not
To bring upon ye head
A simple Ravens Peak.
To douse the light
in ever splendid sight
before the view
of those askew
To guide thy hand
and enable it
fit and firm
From Thoth now descend
The ancient bird of memory
of legend its now spoke
upon the merry wheel
It Spoke
It doused the light
and in its darkness
did it crept
The sight unseen
The shadows gleam
To bring thy holy might
upon those wracked
with strife
A subtle message this
one Thoth bird
The oracle is nigh
for all it pine
The death we now seek
is of kindly dimmed
in light
A simple truce
we do now bring
“n’vr oust the candle
and heed my flame
bring us shadow
bring us death
of a simple
Dimmed Light”
